Poshya Kakil : Broken Fancies performance in College of Fine Arts Hawler

performance that took place in the college of Art in Erbil, in Iraqi Kurdistan. The artist slowly walks on a path of fresh black ink and broken glass bottles to re-enact a condition of deep personal distress. By living the pain again Poshya Kakl progressively liberates herself from it until she reaches a complete catharsis and redemption. The last bottle is unbroken as so are her fancies and desires.
