about the Meaning of the powerful and the symbol of the horse
Lukman Ahmad is Kurdish artist a self-taught artist who paints professionally. He admires nature and its creatures.
Lukman began doing art back into 1986 in Syria, and after he moved to USA at 2010, recently Lukman joined Arlington Arts Gallery and Workhouse Arts Center
Lukman’s talent allows him painting using water colors, oil colors, acrylic and pastel.
Most of the works that Lukman is doing are related to the Kurdish history and cultures, which are full of the stories and epics filled with spring colors.
Being part from a destiny with no country or borders offered him the freedom into brush strokes with painting the expressive cultures and its complexities.
Working as designer in many companies in Syria Lukman used the new technology in very good way with mixing his hand works and using the technical domains.
With more than 40 exhibitions in many places like Syria, Turkey, Kurdistan, Switzerland, Lebanon and United states, Lukman succeeded into representing his art work.
Today Lukman lives in Virginia, USA and he does most of his works into his studio at the Workhouse Arts Center
